I don't know if this is the right place to ask. But if a proposal is accepted, does that mean that person is a "presenter," and thus can register as a "presenter" for $180?

Thanks!

Hi there -

Yes, that's correct. If your proposal is accepted you will be able to register at the presenter rate of $180.

Thank you. Do you know when we will know proposals will be accepted? If my proposal is not accepted, I still want to register for $200 (which is valid until the end of January).

Thank you, and apologies for the questions.

The vetting committees will be finished approximately mid-late February, so acceptance notices will start to go out then.

And no problem on the questions! :)

Sorry, a few more questions, since I am just hearing about proposals now, and only recently learned of Portus 2008.

I have multiple ideas for proposals. Is it okay for me to submit several? I, will, of course be prepared to carry out my proposals if multiple proposals are accepted.

If I register today at $200, and my proposal is accepted, do I get a $20 refund?

Thank you for your patience with my questions :)

Yes, are you able to submit multiple proposals! We will work with you on scheduling to make sure that you have adequate time between sessions.

Unfortunately, if you register today, we're unable to refund the difference between the current registration price and the presenter registration.
